Artist Agreement

Artist Terms

These are the terms an artist must accept before submitting an Armaora application. The application stores the exact accepted version and a verification hash.

ARMAORA ARTIST TERMS & RIGHTS RESPONSIBILITY DECLARATION Version: 2026-08-08-v1 1. PURPOSE AND SERVICE Armaora provides independent artists with presentation, discovery and hosting services for artist profiles and releases. The current artist setup fee is 19.90 EUR as a one-time onboarding/service fee and includes the first approved release. There is no monthly subscription. Additional manually prepared releases may carry a separate setup fee disclosed before work begins. Mandatory legal rights are not affected. 2. OWNERSHIP AND RIGHTS WARRANTY You retain ownership of your music, artwork and other submitted material. You warrant that you own, control, or have obtained all permissions, licences, clearances and consents necessary for every item you provide to Armaora, including sound recordings, musical compositions, lyrics, samples, beats, stems, performances, artwork, photographs, logos, trademarks, artist names, biographies, metadata and any other material. You warrant that Armaora's hosting, display, streaming, promotion and presentation of that material will not infringe copyright, neighbouring rights, trademark rights, privacy/publicity rights, contractual rights or any other rights of a third party. 3. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy and rights status of material you submit and for your own sales activity. Armaora does not pre-clear or certify ownership of submitted works. You must not submit material that you do not have the right to use. If requested, you agree to provide reasonable evidence of ownership, licences, sample clearances, artwork permissions or other relevant rights documentation without undue delay. 4. LICENCE TO ARMAORA For as long as your material is listed, you grant Armaora a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence limited to the permissions reasonably necessary to host, technically reproduce, display, stream the supplied preview/full audio, present metadata and artwork, create normal technical derivatives such as thumbnails, and promote the submitted release and artist page. This licence does not transfer ownership to Armaora. It ends when the material is permanently removed, except for technically necessary backups and records retained for legal/compliance purposes. 5. DIRECT SALES AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY For guest artists using their own external Buy URL or checkout, the customer pays the artist or the artist's chosen payment provider directly. Armaora does not receive the sale proceeds and takes 0% Armaora sales commission from that direct transaction. The artist is responsible for their checkout, payment-provider fees, prices, taxes, invoices, refunds, chargebacks, consumer-law obligations and customer support connected with those sales. 6. CLAIMS, INDEMNITY AND LIABILITY To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Armaora, its operator and persons acting for it against third-party claims, losses, damages and reasonable costs (including reasonable legal costs) arising from material you submitted, your sales activity, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of third-party rights. Armaora is not responsible for disputes caused by rights, information, products, services or sales supplied or controlled by an artist. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. 7. REVIEW, SUSPENSION AND TAKEDOWN Armaora may reject an application and may suspend, disable or remove an artist page, release, audio, artwork, Buy URL or other content when there is a reasonable rights concern, credible complaint, legal notice, suspected fraud, unlawful content, breach of these terms, or other legitimate operational or legal reason. Armaora may request additional documentation before restoring content. Armaora has no obligation to publish every submission. 8. COPYRIGHT AND RIGHTS COMPLAINTS Armaora provides a public copyright/rights reporting mechanism. If a credible complaint is received, Armaora may restrict access while investigating and may share the substance of the complaint with the affected artist where appropriate. You agree to cooperate promptly and truthfully with rights investigations. 9. ARTIST IDENTITY AND CONTACT INFORMATION You must provide accurate legal identity and contact information. You must keep Armaora informed of material changes needed to administer your artist relationship or handle legal/rights matters. False identity or materially false application information may result in rejection or removal. 10. PRIVACY AND RECORDS Application, agreement and complaint data are processed as described in Armaora's privacy notice. Armaora may retain acceptance records, contractual records, payment/status records and rights-related records for as long as reasonably necessary for administration, compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. 11. TERMINATION You may ask Armaora to remove your artist material. Armaora may end or suspend the service in accordance with these terms. Clauses that by their nature concern past submissions, payments, rights warranties, claims, records or liability may continue to apply after removal to the extent permitted by law. 12. ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE Checking the required boxes and typing your legal name as an electronic signature means that you confirm the information in your application is accurate, that you have read and accept these Artist Terms, that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter the agreement, and that you specifically make the rights and responsibility declarations above.
